  Medical conditions that will prevent you from getting baptized.

  have you ever noticed that moderate to severe cases of mental conditions will keep you from getting baptized?

  mental retardation, learning disabled or with disabilities, multiple personalities, old timers disease, these will keep you from being baptized and will get you disfellowshipped.

  i told some people to look around at conventions and if any of these sick people were found, they were to go up and ask if they were publishers.

  Where are you going when you die?

  a questions that has been on my mind for 20+ years that i have been away.. and more recently - a friend of my sons was killed.

  he ask me "mom where are you going when you die?

  " i am worried because if you die, i don't know where you are going.

  Finally received our "shepherding call" today

  after dodging the bullet for a few weeks, the elders finally made their way to our house today.

  the reason i think this to be so, is because he asked me what he should write down for my report.

  New idea from old times revived?

  looking at some of the previous posts i was wondering if anyone would be interested in making some posters for the jws that advertised their own doctrine.

  "jehovah's witnesses are the only truth, the only true religion governed by the only true god.

  all other religions are of satan and you will all be destroyed with him if you do not except jehovah's witnesses' teachings today!

  JWs & DF'd ones doing business together

  i recall reading a wt article from the 1980s regarding how dfd and dad ones should be treated.

  a portion of this article dealt with having business dealings with someone who is dfd.

  if i remember correctly, the society encouraged the reader to, if possible, get out of any type of business partnership with someone who is dfd and not to have any business dealings with these ones.
